The FMC pigging technology applies to industrial lines through which, liquid products are transferred, whatever their viscosity is.
A solid element, called the pig, is propelled through a pipe by fluid pressure. Matching and tightly fitting the pipe inside diameter, the pig removes any product residue clinging to the interior surface of the pipe. The residue remaining after pigging is virtually nil.
